My passion for interior design has been a lifelong constant. Over the years, I sought out every opportunity to work on design projects, from renovations to new builds, for myself and others. At the same time, I built a successful career as a paralegal, developing strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
I decided to turn that passion for interior design into a profession by earning my Bachelor of Interior Design—a foundational step that equipped me with an advanced level of technical skills and spatial planning needed to create thoughtful, well-executed interiors.
My design style is rooted in transitional design, blending the warmth and character of traditional interiors with the clean lines and simplicity of contemporary living. The result is a home that feels timeless, comfortable, and beautifully functional
Through Haven and Hue Interior Design, I help clients in Calgary and surrounding areas create beautiful, functional spaces.

At Haven and Hue Interior Design, I believe your home should be your haven—a place that nurtures, restores, and supports the life you want to live today.
My designs elevate your space by employing a combination of timeless materials, calming neutral color schemes, layered lighting for ambiance and functionality, and thoughtfully planned layouts.

When you work with Haven and Hue Interior Design, you work directly with me throughout your entire project.
As a boutique interior design studio, I intentionally take on a limited number of projects so I can provide each client with a personalized and attentive experience. From our first conversation to the final reveal, I am your dedicated point of contact.
I believe successful design begins with understanding how you live in your home. By building strong relationships with my clients, I am able to create spaces that feel authentic, functional, and uniquely personal.
"Our 20-year-old kitchen needed a full update, and by May 2025 we were overwhelmed. Haven and Hue—and especially Stephanie—made the entire process easy and enjoyable.
From her first visit, Stephanie measured everything and reviewed our original builder plans. We shared our wish list—more counter space and a larger island, deep drawers for pots and pans, dedicated cabinets for the griddle and small appliances, and under-cabinet garbage/compost. We worried our must-haves would blow the budget, but she spent over an hour discussing how we use our kitchen, trade-offs, and smart options.
She returned with three design concepts at different price points and clearly explained where we’d get the best return for resale. When we asked about changing a few items, she offered honest, thoughtful guidance.
Throughout the project, Stephanie coordinated all the trades, visited regularly to ensure the work matched her design, and kept us updated on costs so we stayed on budget. She brought samples and options, even helped us select quartz at the vendor to balance design and cost. When she introduced black floor tile samples, we were hesitant—she encouraged us to trust the process. She was absolutely right. Her site visits also caught an installation error early, saving us from a costly fix later.
The finished kitchen is truly a dream—something we didn’t think was possible within our budget. Cooking for large groups is now a pleasure, and the working triangle she created makes movement effortless. Her attention to detail is outstanding, and she was a joy to work with. We’re already looking forward to working with Stephanie and Haven and Hue again when we renovate our bathrooms."
